The adapter is not found
REVV works with ELM327-compatible adapters that support Bluetooth LE, for example Vgate iCar Pro, vLinker MC+ or FS, Veepeak BLE and OBDLink CX. Adapters that only use classic Bluetooth cannot connect to an iPhone. You don't need to pair the adapter in iOS Settings: plug it in, switch the ignition on, open OBD in REVV and tap Scan.
Connected, but no rpm
- Turn the ignition on, or start the engine.
- Keep Protocol on Auto first. REVV tries the adapter's auto-detect, then every bus one by one.
- Turn on Compatibility mode. Refresh is slower, but it works with picky engine computers.
- Still nothing? Tap Run diagnostics, then share the log from Adapter console and logs and send it to us.
No sound in the car
Connect the iPhone to the car over Bluetooth audio, CarPlay or AUX and pick it as the audio source. If music is also playing, check that Play over music is on in Settings.
The sound doesn't match my revs
In Settings under Your car, set Car idle and Car redline to your car's values. With Match engine rev range on, your car's range is stretched onto the selected engine. Lower Car redline to reach the engine's redline without revving hard.
Wrong gear on the display
Gears are learned automatically while you drive at a steady speed. If you changed tyres or the display looks wrong, tap Re-learn gears in Settings.
Engine on one side, exhaust on the other
Open Settings, then Sound stage. Choose Engine L or Engine R, or drag each part of the sound where you want it. Front and rear speakers always get the same mix, because phones send stereo to the car.
