REVV is an iPhone app that plays a synthesized engine sound driven by data from your car's OBD-II port. This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: REVV does not collect, share or sell any personal data, and nothing leaves your device.

Data we collect

None. REVV has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. The app does not connect to any server operated by us or anyone else.

Bluetooth and vehicle data

REVV uses Bluetooth only to talk to the OBD-II adapter you choose. It reads live values such as engine rpm, throttle, speed, engine load, coolant and intake temperature and battery voltage. These values are processed on your iPhone in real time to generate sound and to show gauges. They are not stored on a server and are not sent anywhere.

Stored on your device

• Your settings, such as the selected engine, exhaust mode, volume and sound stage.
• The identifier of the last adapter you connected, so REVV can reconnect automatically.
• Gear ratios REVV learns from speed and rpm while you drive.
• Optional adapter logs for troubleshooting. They are saved in the REVV folder of the Files app and leave your device only if you share them yourself.

Deleting the app removes all of this data.

Children

REVV does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
